Understanding the core systems that drive Loop Dungeon

The Loop System

How Loops Work

Each run through the dungeon is called a "Loop." When you die, you restart from Floor 1 but retain all permanent upgrades purchased with gold.

  • • Loop 1 starts at Floor 1
  • • Each subsequent loop starts at higher floors
  • • Gold earned scales with loop number
  • • Rare drops improve on later loops

Loop Scaling

Monster HP: +10% per floor
Gold Drop: +15% per floor
XP Gain: +5% per floor
Drop Quality: +2% rare per floor

Attack Mechanics

Melee attacks hit adjacent enemies automatically

🏹

🛡️

Block chance reduces incoming damage by percentage

Damage Calculation

Final Damage = (Base Damage + Equipment Bonus) × (1 + Strength%/100) × (1 - Enemy Armor%)

Critical Hits

Base crit chance: 5%. Each point of Luck adds +0.5% crit chance. Critical hits deal 2× damage.
